How we designed the Clickless clinician dashboard

Design decisions behind giving clinicians real-time visibility into patient progress.

The first version of the clinician dashboard tried to show everything the app collected — every session, every motion-sensor reading, every self-reported pain score. Clinicians in early testing mostly ignored it.

What changed wasn't the amount of data. It was the order clinicians actually needed to look at it in during a short follow-up visit: is the patient using it, is it working, and does anything need to change today.

Three questions, three tabs

The first tab clinicians open. A single weekly completion rate, not a session-by-session log — designed to answer one question in under five seconds.

The tabs below show that shift — from a single dense view to a workflow built around the three questions a clinician actually asks at a follow-up appointment.
